I love art journaling. I’ve always done it, even before the term “art journaling” became so common in art circles on social media. I love to have notebooks at the ready for drawing, painting, writing, dreaming…I’ve done this as long as I can remember.
Of course, now there’s SO much inspiration for art journaling! I have a few artists I follow whose art journals look like beautiful pieces of original art I’d love to have on my walls ( Julie Balzer and Alisa Burke are my two favorites!).
I’ve been on a major drawing marathon, but I try to find time to art journal as often as I can. Here are my latest (unfinished) pages – my first art journaling pages for 2016…
‘Til next time!
hey, i never knew this was a thing. but this is really cool. i was really drawn towards the page with the words “called to be creative” and “2016 I’m ready.” guess it resonates with me as well! 🙂 thanks for sharing and good luck Susie
Thank you so much for your comment, Janna! 🙂 I’m glad you liked this. I love art journaling, because to me it’s all about the process and not the product – I try to do it often!
