I pulled out one of my gelli plates this week and did some printing. It’d been awhile – I forgot how much I LOVE my gelli plates!
I used my 8″ X 10″ Gelli Printing Plate this time – the perfect size for the cardstock I had on hand, and for my sketchbook.

let the gelli printing begin!

started with this fun wavy roller…

remember to write words backwards on your Gelli Plate!

create – mirror image…

keep scrap paper handy to clean off Gelli Plate and brayer…

using black for graphic punch…

one of my favorite gelli printing items: inexpensive shelf liner…

cool, huh?

so much cool texture!

I get cool results from mixing simple stripes of colors…

I can’t wait to use these beautiful prints…

love ’em all!

I even gelli printed in my sketchbook – perfect background for some journaling…

my favorite accessory: paint!
You don’t need fancy or expensive tools for your Gelli Plate. The wavy roller and the shelf liner I used here were from the 99 Cents store, as were the cotton swabs I used to write the word “create”. Get creative – look around for everyday household items you can use!
’til next time…
